Do a little shopping and you can register your personalized domain name for less than $10 a year. Many domain registration companies will offer free e-mail service so that you can immediately start receiving your e-mail at 'yourname@yourdomain.com', instead of something cryptic like 'george76639@aol.com'. There's also a growing market in reselling domains, so you can even purchase domains for speculative purposes.
